This short film reveals that, under the reflection on the predicament of modernity, individual suffering is no longer mere exploitation, but a form of meticulous sacramental suffering. We are both priests and offerings, partaking of our own alienated labor in the sacrament of consumption, chanting our commodified destinies in the choir of data. Ultimately, it points to a truth: we are not merely trapped within the system—we are the very taste buds the system grows to savor its own existence, the painful sensors through which the deity perceives its own divinity.
The supply chain has become the most colossal and silent machine of our time. This machine does not produce objects; it produces only a specific mode of seeing, a unidimensional vision that compresses the world into resources, labor, logistical nodes, and consumption data.
