Taking the mass psychology as an opportunity, this study makes an analogy study of two different art media, film and architecture, in an attempt to extract architectural viewpoints from the mechanism of filmmaking.Based on the film narration, three kinds of narrative mechanisms are obtained through analyzing the film narration arrangement, including plot construction, emotional logic and time arrangement, which can trigger the psychological fluctuations of the audience towards the film works.On the contrary, these three aspects have relativity and commonality respectively in narrative design of architectural space.In architectural space, the emotional mechanism of film can be used to realize the narrative purpose of plot sequence, emotional resonance and rich space and time experience of architectural space, so as to establish the connection between film and space, and translate to achieve the narrative of space.
